Got the opportunity to not only work for the Iowa High School Sports Network once, but twice! I created social media content for both the Iowa High School State Football and State Basketball.
Running social media during live events is always an exciting challenge. I was constantly using Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram to showcase highlights, update scores and brackets, and keep fans posted with all the action.
With over a million twitter impressions during both events, our content had to be as engaging as possible to keep fans coming back. Working with the IHSSN has helped me develop time sensitive social media posting as well as learning to adapt and quickly change in a fast pace social media world.
